A Pause Button

I would rather have a pause button than a rewind button in my life. A rewind button would be nice, but human beings should live with our lives because our mistakes and how we solve them make us who we are. A pause button could be used to just step out for a moment, get some rest or something, and then resume your life with no harm done. Of course, it could be used for wrong if not in the right hands, but I don't think I would. We are supposed to make mistakes, and how we handle those mistakes is who we are, so a rewind button would make a person different. A pause button would like on TV. You can just pause and come right back.

Writer's Block

Writer’s block? There’s an app for that. — Contrary Blog
For some time I have been writing. I enjoy doing it, and my creative mind is always pushed to create interesting ideas, places, and people. Still, recently I have encountered a bad patch of writer's block. I've gotten it before, but this time it is much worse. I have not felt like writing as much as I used to, and when I do, I can't come up with anything good. I hope I get out of this rough patch soon so I can continue to do what I love.

I Deserve a Day Off

ACES Grade Day - No School - No Hay Escuela > Ash Creek Elementary School
I deserve a day off because I work hard in school. I get my work done and turned in on time. I also never get lunch detentions, not one in the year and a half in the Middle School. I really deserve a day off because of how hard I work and how good I am. I do my best, and I should get a day off for it.

The Best Book I Ever Read

Artemis Fowl (2001) | Artemis Fowl Confidential
The best book I ever read was probably the first Artemis Fowl book by Eoin Colfer. It wasn't the writing style, or the way Colfer worded things, but what the book was about. The Artemis Fowl series is eight books long, and I have read them all, but the first one stood out from the rest. The first time I read it, it pushed my imagination to a place where no book had before. It set up a great series and created an amazing world. Masterfully made in how it blended reality with fantasy, the first novel in the Artemis Fowl series was the best book I ever read.

The Horses

UK Horses Go On Transit Strike Until Horse Meat Contamination Scandal is Resolved | Inhabitat - Sustainable Design Innovation, Eco Architecture, Green Building

The horses came around the corner fast, followed by a small figure chasing after them. Henry kept thinking to himself what went so wrong. He knew that horses were not very smart animals, never mind stories of the "noble steeds." Horses were the dumbest, shyest, and the most flighty creatures on the Earth. He had been doing what he always did when he woke up: filling the water bucket with water from the stream. After that he went to feed the animals, and then to brush down the horses. He opened the gate to the stable and began to brush down Abigail, the youngest horse that his family owned. The next thing he knew he was chasing two horses down main street of a nearby town.
